Dr. Leopoldo Orlando de Amaral is in charge of the Natural Resources Practice Group. Law degree from Eduardo Mondlane University (Mozambique) and master's degree from the University of Pretoria (South Africa). He is also graduated in Mining and International Oil and Mining Laws and Contracts. He has been a professor of International Law for several years and has experience of legal advice for public and private institutions in Mozambique. Before returning to Sal & Caldeira Advogados where he was Senior Legal Advisor, he worked for seven years as program manager for Southern Africa of the Open Society Foundation, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is an industrial property agent enrolled in the Industrial Property Institute of Mozambique.
